Our pool temperatures are monitored daily, however may fluctuate slightly due to weather.

Mount Barker District Council intend to develop the Summit precinct to create a leisure and tourism destination for the community that will support local economic development, encourage tourism and generate employment opportunities..

Persons older than 12 and younger than 18, can join as a Health Club member with some limitations. Please find these details below, organised by age group.

Members aged 12 – 15

Persons aged 12 – 15 years are welcome to join on a Health Club or Full Access membership and participate at the venue with some limitations when a parent or guardian who also holds a valid membership is present.

Persons aged 12 – 15 are not eligible for independent use of the Health Club and can not attend a group exercise class without supervision. They are not eligible to participate in high-impact or complex group exercise classes, meaning they cannot participate in Reformer Pilates, Boot Camp or HIIT classes.


Additionally, 12 – 15-year old members must complete the Pre-Exercise Screening Form for Young People, which is printed and available at reception.

Members aged 16 – 17
Can join and use the Health Club independently but they are not eligible for 24/7 access and can only visit the centre during staffed hours.

Members aged 18+

Only members aged 18 and above are eligible for 24/7 access. This is available upon the completion of an in-person induction session. Access to the 24/7 Health Club will be activated within 24 hours of completing the induction.

Bookings are not required for casual lap swimming. You can simply visit the centre during our opening hours and find an available lane.

At least one lap lane in our 25m pool will be available at all times for casual swimming unless there is a school swimming carnival or whole pool event booked.

Swimming carnivals, event bookings and lane closures will be all be advertised in advance on our Facebook and Instagram pages.

No, only one person per visit pass.

We accept the following concession cards on the criteria that they have a valid expiry date and that the card is shown upon your first visit for new concession memberships or each casual visit to the centre:

  • Health Care card
  • Pensioner & Senior card
  • Student card

Yes, members can place their membership on hold for up to 6 weeks per year for a fee of $5 per week. This can be self-managed via our Active World app, please see more information and directions on our Manage Your Membership page.

As part of your membership agreement, we require 30 days written notice for any cancellations. You must fill in a cancellation request form at our centre. The cancellation forms are available on request at reception.

There are no cancellation fees. If your cancellation is due to a medical emergency or of a similar nature, please contact management with the details to discuss your options.
